Those learnings from BP's Ma'Daerah programme didnot go to waste but instead
were shared among other teachers and students... and one of them was the making
of Garbage Enzyme. Majority @ SRAIB was excited to venture onto this enyzme
making activity especially after knowing how this garbage enzyme production
could help in bringing down the earth's temperature...According to an article
from http://www.o3enzyme.com , the production of garbage enzyme can generate
ground-level Ozone gas (O3), O3 gas can in return reduces carbon dioxide (CO2)
in the atmosphere and heavy metal that traps heat in the cloud. Hence heat can
be release from the Earth, reducing greenhouse and global warming effects. Just
imagine if every household in this world could be doing this and produce ozone
gas!
The school plan was to first collect wastage such as fruits peels from students
and teachers between 23rd June to 3rd July and conduct a session to teachers and
students on how to produce the enzyme!! With hope they would spread out this
Garbage enzymes from this session will be used;
- as a natural soil fertilizer for mini gardens' plants and as well as a natural
pesticide and herbicide to keep our mini gardens' plants away from bugs.
- as organic detergent to be used during school's cleaning sessions.
We will come back with some photos on this activity sooooon...!!
To raise awareness on the importance of protecting our planet & the need for everyone within Al Irsyad -teachers, parents & school children to take action. We believe if teachers, parents & students work together and demonstrate school own conservation efforts to improve our environment, insyaAllah our young Irsyadians have a better chance of growing up to do the same.
