Reducing Plastic Bags Campaign of SRI Al-Irsyad Balok had finally been organized after being postponed earlier. The campaign started from 13th October until 23rd October 2009.
Tips were given to Irsyadians on how to reduce the plastic bags usage in their daily life especially during their school period. Teachers and students were advised to bring food container to buy food during recess and they were also discouraged to buy during this period those tidbits food wrapped in plastic wrappers. In order to measure effectiveness of this campaign, a survey was conducted among teachers and students.
