A Toast to Garbage story continues...The End Result

Event date : 9th October 2009

The first Garbage Enzyme fermented on 2nd July 2009 was finally ready on 9th October 2009 after 3 month of fermentation. The activity was participated by Year 4 and 5 students. The activity started with a brief explanation by the teacher in charge. The students were then instructed to fill up the bottles they brought (mineral bottles) with the enzyme. Though the enzyme produced a smelly 'aroma' ,but that did not stop the excitement from the participated students to fill up their bottles and to start applying those enyzmes onto the school plants as fertilizer.

Hope with this exercise, the knowledge could be shared among the students/teachers back into their households, so more ppl could venture into garbage enyzme making. The more garbage enyzme could be produced , the more ground-level Ozone gas (O3) could be created . Thus the more O3 gas exists, the more carbon dioxide (CO2) could be reduced in our atmosphere!!!
