Water Catchment to Reduce Water Bill

The usage of water for watering plants increases with the increase on number of plants planted in the school compound. Thus one way to reduce school water usage on JBA water, water catchment from rain was planned. Two big water tanks were used and placed at the school open space to catch and hold water from rain. With the current raining season, the two tanks were easily filled up most of the time.

The Two Water Tanks...
Imagine if everyone of us could make this kind of effort at home, taking advantage of natural resources like rain to reduce usage on JBA water, hey we could help JBA reduced their usage on fuels to run water pumps ..and this in a long run could eventually help to reduce CO2 production from the burning of these fuel ...

p/s : And yup we took care of mosquito larva too, by placing abate into both water tanks to avoid them becoming mosquito breeding places :-)
